Andrea Anderson
Andrea Anderson was born in Louisville, Kentucky & raised in Hammond, Indiana. Her interest in performing started when she was a child. She perfomed in dance recitals, talent shows, plays, pageants and modeling followed by Ms. Fitness USA. She then became a member of the dance troupe The Slippendolls and The Ice Babies. Putting her focus on TV, she started acting in commercials including Toyota, Snapple, Boston Market and the Miami Sands soap opera. Ms. Anderson then worked in news at CBS/WFOR-Miami and Good Housekeeping Magazine as a Spokesperson while attending broadcasting school. Continuing on as a freelancer, Ms. Anderson became a Television host for production companies on various shows. She has worked with known actors such as Ben Stiller in Arrested Development, Alan Alda in West Wing, Matthew Perry in Mr. Sunshine. Her independent films include Black Martini; Ignorance is Bliss, Hello Tomorrow, Southern Dys-Comfort, and Scarf. Theatrically she has performed in Sorry Wrong Number and The Waiting Room at the Underground Theater. Ms. Anderson keeps busy volunteering with numerous charities, giving back with her time, love and business skills.
Carl Anders Ingermarrson
Carl Anders Ingermarrson grew up in “Filipstad” a small town in the western part of Sweden. Carl started singing and writing music when he was 18 years old. In 2001 Carl moved to Stockholm and instead of making it as a singer/songwriter he started taking acting lessons and in 2004 he auditioned and got in to the “Stockholm Academy of Dramatic arts”.He graduated on the 5th of june 2008 after four years of study. In January 2009 Carl started his own theater “The Kulturstudion” in Stockholm. He is now working internationally as an actor and a singer/songwriter. Carl has participated in numerous film, TV and theater productions.
Catherine Brewton
Catherine Brewton is a classically trained ballet dancer, avid horsewoman, and swimmer.Catherine was "bitten by the acting bug" when she was T.V. Host "Misty Brew" of WDBB-17. A former model, lipsync artist, and dancer who toured the U.S. and Canada, this southern beauty represented her state of AL as Miss Hawaiian tropic in National's and held the title of Miss Dixie Speedway for 2 years. Noteworthy acting credits include independent films, short films, television and commercials, as well as Host and Spokesperson for T.V., special events, tradeshows and conventions.
DH Lewis
DH Lewis’s acting career began with an intensive Acting for the Camera workshop with renowned director Bethany Rooney. She has appeared in several NYC off-Broadway plays then had a recurring role on One Life to Live; a principle role in Clean Slate with Dana Carvey and also appeared in Babylon 5. Her most recent appearances include playing the lead witch, Mona; in the indie feature film Then Again, playing the lead role of Claire; in a video parody entitled Satin Wears Satan; in the lead role of Sophia and has just completed filming in My $@#%@$ Family in the supporting role of ‘crazy’Aunt Jessie Mae. Ms. Lewis attended college where she studied fine art and graphic art. She played competitive tennis team during her college years winning several individual athletic awards. Her conference wins include The Gauchos and The California State Conference. She is managed by Face2Face Entertainment Talent Management, and is represented commercially and theatrically by The Polygon Group Talent Agency. Upcoming, DH has been cast as the school principal, Mrs. Carloftis in The Curse of Crystal Geist, now in pre-production. Ms. Lewis worked with some great directors, such as Mick Jackson, Jonathan Demme, and more. Ms. Lewis continues to train with acting coach, Amy Lyndon.
Dian Van Patten
Dian was born in Burbank with family roots here for over 120 years. Dian was born into an entertainment family which provided her earliest exposure to, and interest in, the industry. Her family was best known for training animals on numerous major tv shows such as Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, Green Acres, etc., as well as on commercials and films. On another side of Dian’s family are actors (Dick Van Patten clan). Dian started her acting career when she was just two years old. During her teenage years, Dian was selected as the youngest member of a repertoire troupe in which she performed for over four years. This opportunity gave her a love of the theatre and a respect for the business of acting.
Dwight Turner
Dwight Turner is an accomplished, multi talented performer in Film, Television, Voiceover and Theatre. Dwight first performed in theater productions as a child. Upon moving to Los Angeles, he landed a role in a national commercial, directed by Alex Proyas, after his first professional audition. He voiced the role of Green Lantern for Six Flags DC Comics Super Heroes, appeared with the LA Opera and the American Ballet Theatre at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and played a doctor in the TV Pilot Rx. He appeared in an international commercial for Chevrolet, and played Theopholies in the feature film The Deported, acting opposite Nicholas Turturro, Talia Shire and Kathrine Narducci. He recently guest starred as Lenny on an episode of 1000 Ways to Die. Dwight has studied with several notable acting teachers including Brad Garrett, Deborah Aquila, Donna Morong, Nina Foch, Kate McGregor-Stewart and Joan Darling.
Grant Smith
Grant Smith has a Ph.D from USC and has done Stand-Up, Theatre, Film and TV here and around the world, but has never been as intellectually, comedically and dramatically challenged as with this production, nor had so much fun! Michael is a Wonder! And though Grant has always said he would never be caught dead in a Zombie Movie, An Apology recently opened at the Detroit Horror Convention.
India Adams
India Adams started her professional career at MGM Studios where she worked with Joan Crawford, Cyd Charisse and many others. Landing a contract with RCA Records, she released a work of her own entitled “Comfort Me With Apples.” She performed extensively in the Manhattan, the Catskills, and The Latin Quarter Radio City Music Hall and on BBC Radio and Television on hundreds of broadcasts and toured throughout the U.K., Europe and Scandinavia. India has been the featured entertainer on numerous cruise ships, including transatlantic crossings of the SS United States, and the QE2. Her stage shows include “Can-Can,” “The Most Happy Fella,” and “Brigadoon. Recently, India has performed at the Cinegrill in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, the Norris Theatre in Palos Verdes, the Castro Theatre in San Francisco, the Annenberg Theatre in Palm Springs, the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in New York, the Smothers Theatre at Pepperdine University, and the Alex Theatre in Glendale. She was also a featured performer at the 1992 Academy Award Presentations for Scientific and Technical Achievement. Her works are available on her website.
Julio Leal
Julio Leal has been acting in film since 1986 starting at McAllen High School in the small town of McAllen, Texas. After High School in 1992, Julio joined the service and since has lead casts in stage comedies for the US Army Theater. He took the lead role in “She Stoops to Conquer" by Oliver Goldsmith at the University of Texas Pan American in South Texas. His recent film and TV credits include Savages by Oliver Stone, Santa Clause 3, THOR and Heroes by NBC. He recently played Joaquin "The Gardner" in Southern Dys-Comfort, a Mad Mad Michael Production. When Julio is not in front of camera he passionately pursues Writing, Directing, Shooting and Editing feature films and documentaries.
Kathy Bell Denton
Born in Rogersville, Tennessee, Kathy is proud of her Southern heritage. She moved from Tennessee to California in order to persue an acting career leaving the nostalgia of wading in cricks, catching crawdads, soup bean sandwiches, and all the wild and wonderful folk who have enriched her life and formed her work there. Kathy's regional theatre credits include work at International City Theatre (StageScene Award for Comedy), The Old Globe, Kennedy Center, The Gem (Dramalogue Award), Sierra Rep and four seasons with Ensemble Theatre of Santa Barbara. Los Angeles theatre work includes Sacred Fools, The Classical Lab, The Road Theatre, The Odyssey, Theatre West, The Unknown Theatre, Vox Humana, Malibu SummerStage, and West Coast Ensemble. Film/TV : Southern DysComfort, Someone Marry Barry, Bitch (Sundance), Hypersapien, Poor Mrs. Sobel, Kadis, I'll Pick the Flower You Love, Appleville Eats Its all Stars . Lynne Alana Delaney
Lynne Alana Delaney fell in love with performing at the age of 3 when she started dance classes. Her first lead was in the stage production of The Proud Princess at age 7. Delaney practiced practice law then later chose a career as a flight attendant. She now credits those careers for providing her with the life research necessary to perfect her dramatic and comedic skills. She is Fluent Spanish and comfortable in a variety of other dialects and accents which enhances her versatility in the roles she plays. Delaney has acted on both stage and screen and continues to study at the Conservatory with coaches Brian Reise and Mark Teschner. She has most recently played 'Kelly’ who is Michael's scorned wife/ex-wife in the film Southern Dys-Comfort, a Mad Mad Michael Production.
Lynne Newton
Lynne Newton attended Phoenix College in Arizona and majored in stage craft and stage directing. Newton moved to Los Angeles where she studied acting with the Anita Jesse Studio, Los Angeles City College, Megan Foley and The Actors Creative Workshop. A partial list of film credits include Southern Dys-comfort, Xmas Evil, Hymen, Ocean’s 7-11, Ray of Sunshine, Bum Rap, Thru the Glass, Deadly Little Christmas and Rattle Basket winner of Best Feature Drama at the Winnipeg International Film Festival and Best Ensemble Cast in the Napa Wine Country Festival.
Maxine English
Maxine English has been a working actress/model for over 25 years in Canada and now here in the US. Her mom owned and operated a Model/ Talent agency where Maxine got involved in front and behind the scenes of the business. Maxine began modeling, Print, fashion shows and doing her first TV commercial at the young age of 10. She is a professional, smart actor who gets involved in all aspects of the project from producing to marketing.
Mike Breyer
Mike Breyer is an Actor, Producer and Designer with a taste for the creative. Mike's first movie appearance was in the 1992 film "Thunderheart" which was filmed in South Dakota while Mike was working at Mt. Rushmore. Though a small role, this prompted Mike to pursue an acting career in Los Angeles. Mike has also appeared in movies such as "Ed Wood", "S.F.W.", "Prank" aka "Shoe Shine Boys", "Skin Props" and his first leading role in 2009's "Dream State" playing the character of Jake. Mike has also been featured on Television shows such as "Picket Fences", "Players", and appeared on the stage in the productions of "The Phantom of the Opera" and "Fame". Mike recently co-starred in the movie "SOUTHERN dys-Comfort" as Kennedy Gamble.
Patrice Lakey
Patrice Lakey graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts. Patrice has also studied at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and the Robey Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. Prior credits include "Will To Live" on Tvone and "Seven In One Blow" with the Torrance Theatre Company. Patrice is known for her larger than life stage presence, storytelling abilities, vocal power and the ability to bring vulnerability to strong characters. A Los Angeles native, Patrice is the most excellent mother of her most excellent son, Dallas.
Patti O’Toole
Patti is a "military brat" as her father was in the Air Force and they moved around quite extensively when she was younger. A number of transfers included time in the South so this project had real appeal. Patti's bachelor’s is in Theatre and then she went to Law School graduating with a Juris Doctorate...just had some problems with the CA Bar! She has raised three sons by herself and now has "thrown her hat back in the ring" for her first passion - performing! Back in the saddle again baby and it feels fabuloussssss!
Robyn von Arx
Robyn von Arx is an actor that loves comedy. Robin earned a BA from Vassar College and two Master's degrees one from UCLA (MA) and NYU/Tisch (MFA). She honed her comedy skills at the UCB and the IO West. She especially loves satire, and won numerous awards including best animated short for 2007 from Moving Pictures Magazine for her satirical animation "Big Dreams". Recent acting credits include numerous commercials, web shows, music videos and short films. The roles she's played range from: a doctor on "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" to a go-go dancer in the movie "Rampart". She currently performs improv at the IO West.
Steve Carnahan
Steve Carnahan is an actor who grew up in a military family and moved around a lot, attributing that to his wealth of experience to draw from. In the ‘80s, while working as a computer programmer, he was a runway (worked along side of Kevin Sorbo (“Hercules”) / print model in Minneapolis where he also choreographed and designed fashion shows. After some theatre experience (Guthrie, Illusion), he decided to make the move to Los Angeles. His first speaking role in Hollywood was a small part on “The Young and the Restless” and subsequently had other small speaking roles on other soaps such as “Days of our Lives” and “Port Charles”. He has numerous uncredited featured roles on TV shows such as Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Frasier, Sliders, Cybill, Carpoolers, Castle and the Mentalist. As well, the same for feature films such as Jerry MacGuire, Star Trek: First Contact, and Buying the Cow. While attending production studies, he hosted two cable shows, “Critter Connection” and “In Fcus” for KOCE. He has also been a stand-in for such notable celebrities as Pierce Brosnan (Mars Attacks), Jerry O’Connell (Buying the Cow), Ryan Reynolds (Buying the Cow), Ed Burns (15 Minutes), Kelsey Grammer (15 Minutes).
Tamara Goodwin
Born with an unmatched drive and exotic looks, Tamara Goodwin is taking the industry by the reigns. Raised in Austin Texas to an African American father and Belizean mother, "T.Good" quickly obtained her BA in Nursing and Masters in Business Administration before the age of 24. During this time she developed a taste for the entertainment industry, co-starring as “Kayla" in NBC's hit show Friday Night Lights. From there she went on to appear in numerous commercials as well as national print campaigns. 'Finding Kismet" her latest venture into writing, producing and acting, has received acclaim with multiple festival selections. Tamara Goodwin's determination appears to be limitless with her sights set on more ground breaking projects.
Tara Callaghan Carr
Tara has appeared on such shows as MAD TV, SCRUBS, 8 SIMPLE RULES, Comedy Central's STRIPMALL, THE MAN SHOW, SPECIAL UNIT 2 and the television movie HITCHED with Leslie Bibb and Mark-Paul Gosselaar. In addition, she has performed in the feature films LOCO LOVE (opposite Laura Elena Harring) and HEADQUARTERS: WARSAW as well as various shorts and commercials. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from Emerson College and has studied improvisation with The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles. Her career began in college when she appeared in professional theatrical productions and radio plays during which she had the privilege of performing with Julie Harris, Alan Rachins, Wallace Shawn and Lindsay Crouse. After graduating, she relocated to Los Angeles where she began working in film, television, theater and sketch-comedy.
